Workboard
The workboard keeps work cards for each product. A card has a title, a description and a status: to do, in progress, blocked or done.
Who can do this
Section titled “Who can do this”Administrators and members, through a worker that has workboard permission.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- The worker has “Read the workboard” to list and read cards, and “Change the workboard” to create and update cards. You see this under “N permissions · show” in Chat.
- The worker works on the product whose board you mean.
- Open Chat and choose a worker with workboard permission.
- Ask in plain words, for example:
- “List the open cards on the board.”
- “Create a card: Update the price page. Status: to do.”
- “Set the card about the login bug to done.”
- Press Send.
What you see afterwards
Section titled “What you see afterwards”- The worker answers with the cards, or confirms what it changed and gives the card’s id.
- The run’s Audit lists every card the worker read, created or changed. The card text is not copied into the audit.
- A worker sees and changes only cards on the boards of its own products.
- By default a workboard change is at the level “Tells you after”: the administrator gets a notice. If the administrator raised it to “Asks you first”, the change waits for approval. See Approvals and checks.
